Noise, an Indian technology brand, has recently enhanced its lineup by introducing two innovative smartwatches for kids, the Noise Junior Explorer 2 and the Noise Junior Champ 3. This launch aims to address the expanding sector of technology tailored for youth, featuring aspects that prioritise child safety, parental assurance, and educational enrichment.
The company remarked that these new models were created in reaction to the growing interest among parents for tools that foster children’s creativity and autonomy, going beyond mere tracking functions.
The more sophisticated option, the Noise Junior Explorer 2, includes real-time GPS capabilities powered by a UNISOC chipset and integrated with Google Maps. This functionality enables parents to track their child’s location and establish geo-fenced safe zones, notifying them if the child strays beyond a designated area. Additionally, the smartwatch is equipped with 4G LTE connectivity, allowing for two-way HD video and voice calling, an SOS emergency feature, as well as an auto-pickup system for trusted contacts.
On the other hand, the Noise Junior Champ 3 is aimed at cultivating routines and promoting educational activities. It comes with an integrated “learning hub” that offers educational games and quizzes. Furthermore, the smartwatch includes a smart scheduler to assist children in managing their tasks, an “exam mode” to reduce distractions, and functions to monitor activity and well-being.
Amit Khatri, Co-founder of Noise, shared insights on the launch, explaining that they aimed to address a genuine issue faced by parents. They recognised a chance to transform the discussion surrounding technology for kids, shifting from oversight to empowering confidence. With the release of the Noise Junior Explorer 2 and Junior Champ 3, the objective is to facilitate children’s growth with technology that supports them, while also providing parents with the reassurance they seek.
The Explorer 2 boasts an IP68 water-resistant rating accompanied by a 950mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Champ 3 features a 1 ATM water-resistance rating and is available with customisable bumpers for its unique squircle-shaped dial.
Pricing and Availability
The Noise Junior Explorer 2 is set to launch at an introductory price of ₹5,999, available in the colour options ‘Pixel Pop’ and ‘Arctic Frost’.
The Noise Junior Champ 3 comes with a price tag of ₹2,999 and will be offered in four core colours: ‘Black Blaze’, ‘Astro Orbit’, ‘Cotton Cloud’, and ‘Arctic Storm’.
