Fashinza Enhances Supply Chain with Qckin Acquisition
Fashinza, a renowned fashion supply chain platform, has successfully acquired Qckin, a startup dedicated to manufacturing and focused on design-to-delivery solutions. This acquisition signifies a pivotal step in Fashinza’s effort to unite technology-driven sourcing with specialised manufacturing. The aim is to empower global fashion brands to accelerate their transition from design to production in a more cost-effective manner.
Strategic Significance of the Acquisition
This development coincides with brands diversifying their sourcing strategies due to geopolitical changes and the evolving landscape of trade dynamics. To address these challenges, Fashinza is committed to fortifying its manufacturing ecosystem by establishing captive facilities that enhance supply chain resilience.
Operational Leadership and Focus Areas
Under the new agreement, the founders of Qckin will maintain leadership roles within operations and will collaborate closely with Fashinza to expand specialised manufacturing capabilities across India and Bangladesh. The initial focus will be on high-demand categories such as shirts, T-shirts, jeans, trousers, and woven tops. The facility established by Qckin will initially prioritise the production of shirts and woven tops while planning to enhance manufacturing capabilities progressively over time.
Collaboration with Leading Brands
Fashinza collaborates with prominent global and domestic brands, including Shein, Reliance Retail, Myntra, and The Bear House. Recently, the company achieved profitability, spurred by substantial growth within its European segment. As the dynamics of global supply chains shift, Fashinza is firmly positioning itself as a technology-oriented manufacturing partner, with future plans to broaden operations across 3–4 locations in India through strategic partnerships and acquisitions.
Background on the Companies
Co-founded in March 2025 by Srinivasan Premkumar and Manojkumar Mahaveer Patil, Qckin operates from Bengaluru and concentrates on retail trade specifically within the clothing and fashion sector. In contrast, Fashinza, founded in 2020 by Pawan Gupta, Abhishek Sharma, and Jamil Ahmad, is an AI-supported B2B apparel manufacturing marketplace based in Gurugram. It optimises the supply chain for fashion brands by offering comprehensive design-to-delivery solutions designed to meet low minimum order quantities (MOQs) while ensuring production is transparent, sustainable, ethical, and efficient.
Recent Funding Journey
In March 2023, Fashinza secured $30 million in working capital funding from Mars Growth Capital and Liquidity Group, further solidifying its financial foundation to drive growth and innovation in the rapidly evolving fashion supply chain landscape.
