According to announcements on Google India’s blog, the Pixel upgrade program is tailored for budget-conscious consumers. The goal is to enhance accessibility for smartphone enthusiasts while simplifying the process of upgrading to the latest Pixel iterations. This initiative collaborates with well-known partners, including Cashify, Bajaj Finance Ltd., and HDFC Bank.
Under the Pixel upgrade program, selected Pixel smartphones can be acquired through a 24-month no-cost EMI plan, beginning at Rs 3,333 per month. Participants can opt to upgrade to a new Pixel phone after completing nine monthly payments. Importantly, the physical state of the previous phone will not be a factor during the upgrade process, provided it meets basic functionality checks. Additionally, purchasers will receive an exchange bonus of up to Rs 7,000, supported by Cashify.
It is important to note that the Google Pixel upgrade program will be active until June 30, 2026, across selected retail outlets in India.
How to Enrol in the Google Pixel Upgrade Program
Step-by-Step Guide
- Select any model from Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, or Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
- Find the nearest partner store.
- Purchase the smartphone using a 24-month no-cost EMI plan.
- Register for the Google Pixel Upgrade Program on the Cashify website within 30 days after the purchase. After the payment of a minimum of nine EMIs and before completing fifteen EMIs, Pixel users are eligible to upgrade to the latest model.
In addition to the purchase advantages, consumers can access popular Google services. Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro Fold models provide one year of Google AI Pro, six months of Fitbit Premium, and three months of YouTube Premium. Meanwhile, Pixel 10 buyers can enjoy six months of Google One Premium (2TB), six months of Fitbit Premium, and three months of YouTube Premium.
