Current Testing Phase for Grok’s Memory Feature

Currently, the memory feature is undergoing beta testing on Grok.com and the Grok app, available for both iOS and Android devices. However, it is important to note that this feature is not accessible to users located in the EU or the UK.

Users can deactivate the setting through the Data Controls menu, which includes options for deleting individual saved memories, catering to user privacy preferences.

Comparison with Other Chatbots

Grok is not the sole chatbot boasting a memory feature. ChatGPT has incorporated a similar functionality into its platform for some time.
