LG Unveils 2025 Television Lineup in India

LG has introduced its 2025 television lineup in India, featuring advanced OLED evo and QNED evo models that incorporate cutting-edge AI technology. These new televisions are set to be available in various screen sizes, reaching as large as 100 inches, with starting prices from ₹74,990.

Personalisation Through AI

The core of LG’s 2025 series is the enhanced Alpha AI Processor Gen2, crafted to offer personalised content experiences through improved user recognition and contextual search. A revamped AI Magic Remote now includes a specific button for voice commands, while innovations like AI Voice ID and AI Welcome automatically recognise users and switch profiles. AI Concierge tracks individual viewing habits to suggest tailored content, and the latest LLM-powered AI Search interprets conversational queries with a heightened understanding.

For setup assistance and troubleshooting, the AI Chatbot provides on-screen help, while tools such as AI Picture Wizard and AI Sound Wizard aid users in adjusting their settings according to personal preferences.

Upgraded Visuals and Sound

The OLED evo lineup features LG’s Brightness Booster Ultimate, enhancing luminance and clarity across different lighting environments. When paired with the Alpha 11 processor, these televisions deliver exceptional upscaling, pixel-level enhancements, and support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

A new Filmmaker Mode equipped with Ambient Light Compensation modifies visuals to suit the room’s lighting, striving to maintain the artistic vision of content creators.

Regarding audio, AI Sound Pro provides a virtual 11.1.2 surround sound experience while enhancing vocal clarity by distinguishing voices from background noise, proving especially beneficial in action-packed or dialogue-centric scenes.

For gaming enthusiasts, the OLED evo line now offers support for up to 4K 165Hz refresh rates and is certified compatible with both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium, featuring built-in genre-based Game Optimiser modes.

QNED evo: Mini LED Meets AI

For those who favour LCD displays, the QNED evo series combines Mini-LED backlighting and Dynamic QNED Colour, LG’s alternative to standard quantum dot technology. These models promise vivid colour accuracy, richer contrast, and detailed zone-based picture refinement through AI analysis.

AI Sound Pro is also a focal point here, featuring virtual 9.1.2 channel surround sound output and the capability for bespoke sound profile adjustments.
