India AI tour is currently being led by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, who has initiated a significant partnership with leading tech firms including Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, and Wipro during his visit to Bangalore on December 11. This strategic alliance aims to advance the use of agentic AI.

Microsoft is set to implement two lakh Microsoft Copilot licences across its products like Office. This initiative is designed to enable employees to work more efficiently and intelligently, marking one of the largest corporate AI implementations to date. This move is anticipated to escalate enterprise-level AI adoption significantly.

These companies are advancing from experimentation to widespread implementation, effectively embedding Microsoft Copilot into their daily operations. This announcement follows Microsoft’s commitment to invest $17.5 billion in India over four years, aimed at developing the nation’s cloud and AI infrastructure.

Nadella mentioned India’s growing adoption of agentic AI, showcasing Cognizant’s multi-agent system, Wipro’s innovative application of data agents in sales and finance, and Swiggy’s real-time data agents. Following his Bangalore visit, Nadella’s next stop is Mumbai on December 12, where he intends to engage with business and technology leaders.
