OnePlus has unveiled its latest Gaming Technology, a sophisticated system engineered to transform mobile gaming performance. By merging cutting-edge hardware, chip-level intelligence, and AI-powered software, the company seeks to eradicate lag, boost energy efficiency, and provide next-level high frame-rate gaming with the upcoming OnePlus 15 Series.

OP Gaming Core

Central to this advancement is the OP Gaming Core, a proprietary, chip-level technology tailored specifically for gaming. It features over 20,000 lines of bespoke code and is supported by 254 patents related to gaming optimisation. This system revolutionises the management of computing resources during gameplay through the OnePlus CPU Scheduler, which decreases CPU instructions by up to 22.74%, thus lowering power usage while ensuring steady frame stability.

This intelligent scheduler supersedes the conventional fair scheduling system in Android with OnePlus’s adaptive computing model, eradicating delays and guaranteeing that essential gaming tasks receive uninterrupted processing power. Additionally, the Next-Gen HyperRendering technology redefines the GPU rendering pipeline, achieving an increase of 80% in rendering efficiency and facilitating smoother, high-fidelity visuals with minimal delay.

Gamers can now relish consistent 120fps gameplay with enhanced thermal regulation and energy efficiency, even in graphically intense titles. The high frame-rate visuals also enable seamless, high-quality screen recording without any performance downturn.

OP Performance Tri-Chip

OnePlus has additionally launched the Performance Tri-Chip system, comprised of three dedicated chips – the Performance Chip, Touch Response Chip, and Wi-Fi Chip G2 – designed to function in harmony for optimal responsiveness and control.

• The Performance Chip, based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, incorporates the new OP Gaming Core to ensure stable, high-powered performance finely tuned for gaming.

Featuring a custom 165Hz display and chip-level synchronisation, OP FPS Max provides smooth, tear-free visuals that elevate mobile gaming past the existing 120fps benchmark.
