OnePlus Launches Nord 5 Series and Buds 4 in India

OnePlus has officially announced the release of three exciting new products in India: the OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Nord CE5, and the OnePlus Buds 4. This highly anticipated launch is set for 8 July 2025 at 2pm IST. The new Nord 5 series is designed to elevate performance within the mid-range segment, making flagship-level features accessible to a broader audience.

Specifications of OnePlus Nord 5

The OnePlus Nord 5 marks a significant milestone as the first model in the Nord lineup to incorporate a Snapdragon 8 series chipset. It operates on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, fabricated on a 4nm process, complemented by LPDDR5X RAM. This enhancement promises to deliver enhanced efficiency and performance for the Nord line.

Built with gaming enthusiasts in mind, the Nord 5 supports Snapdragon Elite Gaming capabilities, including hardware-accelerated real-time ray tracing. It is optimised for popular mobile games such as Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Call of Duty Mobile, offering support for BGMI at 90fps natively and up to 144fps with frame interpolation. Call of Duty Mobile can also run at 144fps.

To ensure stability during intense gaming sessions, the Nord 5 features a Cryo-Velocity VC cooling system, which includes a 7,300 mm² heat dissipation area, using graphene-based materials similar to technologies found in the OnePlus 13. OnePlus claims that this cooling solution effectively manages the CPU, camera modules, and battery under demanding conditions.

OnePlus Buds 4: A Superior Audio Experience

Alongside the Nord 5 series, the OnePlus Buds 4 will also be introduced. These wireless earbuds boast dual drivers, dual DACs, and support for Hi-Res LHDC 5.0, delivering 3D Audio capabilities. Targeted at both gamers and audiophiles, the Buds 4 include a low-latency mode with a 47ms response time in Game Mode. Customers can choose between two elegant colour options: Zen Green and Storm Gray.
