Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra Launch: Specs, Pricing, and Features

Poco recently introduced the F7 series, consisting of the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra smartphones, in selected international markets. The F7 series boasts 6.67″ 2K AMOLED flat displays featuring thin 1.9mm bottom bezels, impressive peak brightness of up to 3200 nits, and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

Poco F7 Pro Specifications

The Poco F7 Pro is an upgrade from the F6 Pro, primarily distinguished by its enhanced processor, moving from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the previous model to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 now powering the F7 Pro. It showcases a flat 6.67″ 2K AMOLED screen equipped with Dolby Vision and Atmos for an immersive experience. The device is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, ensuring durability.

The F7 Pro is also rated IP68 for resistance against water and dust, and it features an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for convenient unlocking.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the dual rear camera system, which includes a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. This camera setup allows for video recording in 8k resolution. For selfies, a 20MP front-facing camera is available.

Operating on Android 15-based HyperOS 2 straight out of the box, the battery capacity has increased from 5000mAh last year to an impressive 6000mAh. However, the charging speed has been slightly reduced; while the F6 Pro supported 120W fast charging, the F7 Pro is equipped for 90W fast charging.

The Poco F7 Pro offers two configurations:

  • 12GB + 256GB: $499 (approximately ₹42,500)
  • 12GB + 512GB: $549 (approximately ₹47,000)

Poco F7 Ultra Specifications

The Poco F7 Ultra shares the same 6.67″ 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate as its sibling. It incorporates Poco Shield Glass for added protection and features the VisionBoost D7 chipset. Similar to the F7 Pro, it is also rated IP68 for water and dust resistance and employs the ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

This model is powered by the top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and runs on Android 15 with HyperOS 2 right out of the box.

The camera system on the F7 Ultra is notably robust, with a triple rear camera arrangement featuring a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP 2.5x floating telephoto lens with OIS, and a 32MP ultra-wide camera. Additionally, there is a 32MP front lens for high-quality selfies.

Despite having a slightly smaller 5300mAh battery, the F7 Ultra supports faster 120W charging and offers 50W wireless charging capabilities as well.

The Poco F7 Ultra is available in two configurations:

  • 12GB + 256GB: $649 (approximately ₹55,500)
  • 16GB + 512GB: $699 (approximately ₹60,000)

Sales for both the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra have commenced in select countries. However, the devices are yet to be released in India. An India launch announcement is anticipated soon, providing more details about pricing and offers exclusive to the Indian market.
