Realme 16 Pro series is gearing up for its imminent launch in India, with the company teasing exciting features. As the number series focuses on photography, Realme has unveiled a significant hint indicating that it will incorporate LumaColor IMAGE, its innovative imaging technology.
Features of Realme 16 Pro Series
The Realme 16 Pro series is also set to include a triple rear camera system that may provide up to 10x zoom capabilities. The smartphone lineup will be driven by a Snapdragon processor, though Realme has yet to disclose the specific SoC model. Users can anticipate AI-enhanced camera functionalities such as AI Edit Genie 2.0, AI Style Me, AI Light Me, among others.
What to Expect from the Launch
The range is likely to include two models: the Realme 16 Pro+ and the Realme 16 Pro. These smartphones are anticipated to make their debut in early 2026, with a possible launch date of January 6. The Pro version is expected to showcase a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, mirroring the specifications of the model released in China.
Battery and Operating System
A significant highlight is the rumoured inclusion of a robust 7,000mAh battery, expected to provide approximately 9.3 hours of gaming, 21 hours of YouTube video playback, about 20.8 hours on Instagram, and around 125 hours on Spotify. The device is confirmed to operate on RealmeUI 7 based on Android 16, promising three years of major OS updates alongside four years of security updates.
Pricing Expectations
In terms of pricing, the Realme 16 Pro series is likely to be introduced at around Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000 in India. However, the exact details will be confirmed only after the official launch.
