Redmi has unveiled the Redmi 15 5G in India, enhancing its well-known smartphone series with advanced features while maintaining affordability. This model is distinguished by its impressive 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which supports 33W fast charging and can also serve to charge additional devices.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, the smartphone runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0. It is equipped with AI-driven functionalities, including Google’s Gemini and Circle to Search, which significantly boosts user productivity and convenience.

Pricing and Availability of Redmi 15 5G

The pricing of the Redmi 15 5G starts at Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant, Rs. 15,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version, and Rs. 16,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model. The smartphone is set to be available from August 28 through Amazon, Xiaomi India’s official website, and certified retail outlets. Available colour options include Frosted White, Midnight Black, and Sandy Purple.

The Redmi 15 5G showcases a 6.9-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1,080×2,340 pixels, capable of up to a 144Hz refresh rate, a 288Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 850 nits. Additionally, the display holds three TÜV Rheinland certifications, ensuring low blue light emissions, flicker-free viewing, and circadian-friendly standards.
