Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has expressed significant apprehension regarding Elon Musk’s expanding influence in government, questioning whether the approach Musk adopts is appropriate for the political landscape. Speaking at the Talent Arena developers’ fair in Barcelona, Wozniak scrutinised Musk’s designation as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a controversial position that enables the Tesla and SpaceX CEO to play a substantial role in federal operations.

Wozniak remarked that the competencies needed in politics diverge greatly from those essential in technology enterprises. He noted that although managing a government like a business is conceptually appealing, he harboured doubts about Musk’s capability in executing this vision effectively.
