Vivo India Launches Latest Flagship Smartphones: vivo X300 and X300 Pro
Vivo India has recently launched its latest flagship smartphones, the vivo X300 and X300 Pro, marking their entry into the Indian market. This new series highlights superior mobile photography through a continuous collaboration with ZEISS and introduces the intelligent OriginOS 6 operating system. The devices are produced in India at the Greater Noida facility of vivo.
Key Specifications and Imaging Focus
The X300 and X300 Pro are both equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and feature an impressive 200MP ZEISS Ultra-Clear Imaging System, which promises exceptional clarity and colour precision. Additionally, the smartphones include two specialised processing chips: the vivo V3+ chip for post-processing and an exclusive VS1 chip for pre-processing.
The vivo X300 is designed as a compact flagship that excels in natural portrait photography, featuring a 200MP ZEISS Main Camera integrated with vivo’s Portrait Engine.
The vivo X300 Pro comes with a 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera and introduces the first Telephoto Bird Shots feature in India, utilising ZEISS Mirotar Telephoto Style Bokeh for long-distance nature photography. It also supports the vivo ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender Kit, enabling up to 8.5x optical zoom when combined. The Pro model houses a robust 6510mAh battery with 90W FlashCharge and wireless charging capabilities, while the X300 offers a 6040mAh battery with the same fast charging feature.
New Software and AI Features
This series is the first in India to launch with the innovative OriginOS 6 right out of the box, designed for rapid performance and enhanced security. Vivo has pledged to deliver five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates for both models.
Additional features include:
- AI Landscape Master: A creative mode that intelligently modifies colour balance and tones to suit diverse environments, such as deserts, snowy landscapes, and islands.
- Adaptive Flash System: An advanced flash system in both models provides brighter and more natural lighting, supporting various focal lengths for sharp night portraits.
- Google Gemini: Seamless integration with the AI assistant, including features such as Circle to Search and Veo 3, Google’s AI video generator.
