Xbox Cloud Gaming Launches in India

Microsoft has officially introduced Xbox Cloud Gaming in India, making it the company’s 29th cloud gaming market worldwide. This innovative service permits players to stream and enjoy hundreds of games straight from the cloud on their existing devices, including Xbox consoles, PCs, smartphones, handheld devices, compatible Amazon Fire TV products, and specific LG and Samsung Smart TVs.

This strategic launch underlines Xbox’s commitment to making gaming accessible to everyone, regardless of their location.

Enjoy a Vast Library of Games with Xbox Cloud Gaming

With Xbox Cloud Gaming, players can delve into an extensive selection of titles that ranges from popular franchises such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Hollow Knight: Silksong to indie gems like Detective Dotson, The Palace on the Hill, and Raji: An Ancient Epic. All that is required is a high-speed internet connection, a compatible Bluetooth controller, and an active Xbox Game Pass subscription.

Affordable Xbox Game Pass Options for Indian Gamers

In India, the Xbox Game Pass begins at Rs. 499 per month for the Essential tier, which grants access to over 50 games, unlimited cloud streaming, online multiplayer, and numerous other perks. The Premium plan is available for Rs. 699, and the Ultimate tier, priced at Rs. 1,389, offers hundreds of titles along with day-one releases. For PC enthusiasts, a subscription to PC Game Pass is priced at Rs. 939 per month.

Xbox Game Pass remains central to Microsoft’s gaming strategy, providing users with access to an extensive game library under a single monthly subscription. The service now features in-game rewards for titles like Call of Duty, Overwatch 2, and various Riot Games. With localized pricing and flexible tiers, Indian gamers can easily select the plan that best suits their requirements.

Connect and Play Across Multiple Platforms

Players can now experience a seamlessly connected gaming environment across multiple devices, whether on a console, PC, or mobile format. Xbox Cloud Gaming allows users to stream games they own, connect with friends globally, and engage in multiplayer experiences without limitations. The platform further supports community features, in-app assistance, and accessibility options tailored for new players.

How to Start Gaming with Xbox Cloud Gaming

To kick off their gaming experience, users can navigate to xbox.com/play on supported browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari. After signing into their Xbox Game Pass account and connecting a compatible controller — which includes the Xbox Wireless Controller, DualSense, or DualShock 4 — players can immediately begin streaming. Certain PC games are also compatible with mouse and keyboard controls, while some mobile titles offer touch inputs.

Smart TV users can access the service by downloading the Xbox app on compatible devices from Samsung, LG, or Amazon Fire TV, logging into their account, pairing a Bluetooth controller, and diving into gameplay without delay.
