This Lite variant is a more economical option, offered at $7.99 per month (approximately ₹700 per month), as opposed to the standard YouTube Premium priced at $13.99 per month (around ₹1,200 per month).

YouTube Premium Lite represents the most budget-friendly method to watch videos on the platform without interruptions from ads. However, this subscription does include specific restrictions. Notably, the Lite version does not include YouTube Music, meaning users opting for this plan will not have the ability to stream music-free from advertisements. Additionally, the Lite subscription does not support background play, which implies that users cannot lock their screens or exit the YouTube app while viewing videos or listening to music. Furthermore, the option to download content for offline viewing is unavailable with Premium Lite.
