JM Financial Select Credit Fund II: A New Era in Alternative Investments
JM Financial Select Credit Fund II (SCF II) has been introduced by JM Financial Asset Management. This second credit AIF is classified under Category II, featuring an initial corpus of Rs 1,000 crore, along with an additional greenshoe option of Rs 1,000 crore.

The initiation of SCF II signifies a crucial advancement in the expansion of JM Financial’s alternative investment offerings. The fund’s primary objective is to target performing credit prospects across various sectors, with a strong emphasis on entities that maintain reliable cash flows, robust business models, and trustworthy promoter histories.
Structured Credit Solutions for High-Quality Businesses
With its focused strategy, SCF II seeks to deliver structured credit solutions that cater to high-quality businesses while providing investors with appealing risk-adjusted returns. The initiative will be spearheaded by Amit Dharod, who is the Managing Director of Alternative Assets at JM Financial Asset Management. Dharod, who joined the company last year from Ascertis Credit (previously BPEA Credit), possesses over 25 years of industry expertise, having served at prestigious institutions like ICICI Bank, GE Capital, and the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Leveraging JM Financial Group’s Ecosystem
Additionally, the fund intends to leverage the synergistic capabilities within the JM Financial Group’s integrated framework, which spans investment banking, capital markets, and credit, to access unique deal flow and enhance origination capabilities.
