As per the data available from the exchange, Urban Company’s IPO was oversubscribed by a remarkable 108.98 times. The demand breakdown showed that the retail segment was subscribed at 41.49x, QIBs (excluding anchors) at 147.35x, and NIIs at 77.82x.
Anchor Investment and Utilisation of Proceeds
During the IPO process, the company, headquartered in Gurugram, raised Rs 854 crore from anchor investors. The company plans to allocate the net proceeds from the fresh issue to various areas, including technology and cloud infrastructure (Rs 190 crore), lease payments (Rs 75 crore), and marketing (Rs 90 crore). Additional funds will be directed towards other general corporate purposes.

Financial Performance for Fiscal Year Ending March 2025
In the fiscal year concluding in March 2025, Urban Company experienced a 38% increase in operating revenue, reaching Rs 1,144 crore. Additionally, the company recorded a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 28.5 crore for the same timeframe.
