The blog detailed that this upgrade allows users to save time and manage multiple tasks seamlessly. Users can keep their primary work visible in one tab while leveraging the sidebar for different tasks.
In terms of AI-driven capabilities, Gemini in Chrome can now concurrently examine information from multiple tabs via the new Context Group feature. Consequently, users can easily compare items like products and hotels, as Gemini assimilates the context of an entire research session, rather than just isolated pages.
Another innovative feature introduced in Chrome is “auto-browse,” which exhibits agentic abilities. This functionality can automatically switch between tabs, perform searches, compare choices, and even apply discounts based on user commands.
